Past perfect continuous tense, contoh dan latihan soalnya

Past perfect continuous tense adalah suatu kalimat yang perubahan kata kerjanya menyatakan suatu kejadian yang baru atau sedang terjadi sebelum kejadian yang lain terjadi. Kedua kejadian tersebut terjadi di masa lampau.

Rumus : S+had+been+verb+ing

Contoh ; -    he had been sleeping, before you came

-          I had been watching TV, before the thief killed my friends

-          He had been walking around in the middle of night

Latihan :

She said that she … (shop) for a present.
